I’m a backend engineer. I write Ruby and Go, build products, and look after the systems they run on.
I came to software through production support: following requests, reading logs, and figuring out why something broke. That experience still shapes the way I build.
These days I’m working on my own products and tools. I use coding agents throughout the work, and take responsibility for the architecture, testing, and what happens in production.

- Safety Ally
- Set a safety check-in time, tap once to say you are safe, and alert someone you trust only when a check-in is missed.
- Lantern
- A local-first workspace for exploring devices, services, names, ownership, and routes.
- RepoPlay
- Replay Git history as an animated tree, galaxy, map, city, skyline, constellation, terrain, radial tree, or mycelium. Nothing leaves the browser.
- DirFlow
- Turn file dates, sizes, and directory structure into an animated tree, field of spheres, or map. Nothing leaves the browser.
Before that
I led backend development at GoX Labs and built developer tools at Comcast. One of those tools replaced a six-hour manual deployment with a one-minute automated process.
